Walk for Canisius 2026
The Walk for Canisius is the yearly student fundraiser and our student's opportunity to give back to their school in a powerful and long-lasting way!
Students raise money for their school by asking family members, family friends, neighbors, and others for donations of any amount. At the end of the fundraising period, a special day is set aside for students, faculty, and staff to walk throughout the local neighborhood. The Walk is meant as a fun day and symbolizes our commitment to our school.
This year, the student body is raising money for a new bus, a much-needed piece of equipment that benefits all students - those traveling to athletic contests and practices, service and immersion trips, retreats, and other school activities. Every student is required to raise $90 as their individual walkathon goal.
The overall school goal for the Walk for Canisius is $55,000, with the stretch goal being $65,000.
Day Of The Event
The day of the Walk is October 23rd. There will be attendance in the morning, but there will be no classes. Instead, we will walk along a designated route that includes parts of Delaware Park, Elmwood Avenue, and surrounding neighborhoods.
