Sports Reporter Night 2020

By Levi Trimble

All sports fans have heard phrases like “no one circles the wagons,” “he could go all the way,” and “cool as the other side of the pillow.” These sayings craft the experience for every rabid fan to the most casual of viewer or reader.”

Canisius High School will host Sports Reporter Night, February 11, teaching middle school aged students how to craft their own game story. Students will get free admission to the Canisius vs. Nichols varsity basketball game where they can watch the game and be given the opportunity to write their own recap after an introductory lesson from Canisius staff.

Students will be asked to arrive at 5:30pm for the class. The game tips-off at 6:30pm with an interview session with Canisius coaches and players after the game.

Registration is free. Sign up below.
