Soccer

The Crusaders finished the regular season with a 4-2 victory over St. Joe’s. Wisken Whited ‘21, Ermyes Aman ‘22, Jack Cosgrove ‘23, and Ryan Adams ‘21 each scored a goal while Whited, Aman, and Dante Cotroneo ‘22 each recorded an assist. Cody Franklin ‘22 earned the win in net.

In a Monsignor Martin semifinal matchup, the squad defeated St. Joe’s again by a score of 1-0 in a thrilling overtime battle. Victor Mazzara ‘22 scored the game-winning goal off of a Rehn Pielechowski ‘21 assist. Henry Bailey ‘21 earned the shutout in net with some assistance from Franklin after an injury.

Then after a thrilling, hard-fought ninety minutes, Canisius fell to Nichols 2-1 in the championship game. Jay Granto ‘21 scored the lone Canisius goal off of a corner assist from Adams.

Overall, the Crusaders had a phenomenal season. They finished with an 8-3-2 regular season record while coming in second place in the Monsignor Martin playoffs. Congrats!

Finalists announced for 2024 Mr. Canisius award

This year's six finalists have been announced for the Mr. Canisius Award, which is presented annually to the graduating senior who, in the estimation of his peers, epitomizes all that Canisius stands for.

CHS Drama Guild's "The Addams Family" musical March 14-16!

Two weeks to opening night!

Our CHS Drama Guild will present its annual musical on March 14-16 with a wonderfully fun production of The Addams Family. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows all start at 7:30 p.m. in historic Scaccia Auditorium.
