The Crusaders suffered a tough 3-0 loss to St. Joe’s in their lone game of the week. Tim Obringer ‘21 led the team with a 462.

The squad now has a 1-1 record as they take on Timon and St. Francis this week.


Canisius dominated a relay meet on Saturday with a combined team score of 396, defeating St. Joe’s (255) and St. Francis (232). Not only did the Crusaders win, but they swept the entire competition with first place finishes!

In the 200 yd medley, Max Kruglov ‘21, Evan Maynard ‘21, Christian Wilson ‘22, and Matthew Woyksnar ‘22 had a time of 1:43.46. In the 250 yard freestyle, Woyksnar, Henry Weimer ‘22, Sean Grace ‘21, and Chris Signore ‘21 finished in 2:08.55. In the 400 yard medley, Kruglov, Marshall Adams ‘23, John Barry ‘22, and Jaxon Bruzgul ‘24 had a time of 4:00.55. In the 100 yard freestyle, Wilson, Weimer, Grace, and Jed Dietrich ‘21 finished in 43.43. In the 200 yard butterfly, Bruzgul, Adams, Wilson, and Ryan Stravino ‘24 had a time of 1:45.54. In the 200 yard freestyle, Grace, Weimer, Stravino, and Adams finished in 1:39.05. In the 500 yard freestyle, Dietrich, Maynard, Signore, and Woyksnar had a time of 4:41.71. In the 200 yard backstroke, Kruglov, Adams, Barry, and Ishmael Attuwaybi ‘21 finished in 1:48.04. In the 200 yard breaststroke, Bruzgul, Dietrich, Attuwaybi, and Maynard had a time of 2:08.55. In the 400 yard freestyle, Woyksnar, Grace, Wilson, and Kruglov finished in 3:24.13. In the 200 yard freestyle, Bruzgul, Adams, Woyksnar, and Kruglov had a time of 1:35.94.
