Coffee House 2020

By CHS staff

Canisius students are preparing for the annual Canisius Coffee House. The event is the most popular student-hosted fundraiser at Canisius. The Coffee House is not only fun, it also supports the campus ministry department’s Companions service immersion program.

Companions offers juniors the chance to experience an immersive service program, culminating in a domestic or international trip with a group of peers and faculty. This year students will be traveling to many places, including Puerto Rico, Cincinnati, Belize, and New Orleans, as well as going deeper with communities closer to home in Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

At the Coffee House students can perform and entertain the community with music, poetry, comedy, or any other talent. The Coffee House also features delicious food, hot beverages, raffles and an opportunity to spend time with friends.

The event is Saturday, February 8, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the school's Scaccia Auditorium. Admission is $5 per person at the door and includes one free coffee or hot chocolate.

Students who are interested in performing at the Coffee House should email
