CHS presents 'Damn Yankees' this week

OPENING THIS WEEK: Canisius High School presents our musical, “Damn Yankees."

Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in our historic Scaccia Auditorium. Tickets ($12.50 adults, $7 students) can be purchased at the door starting at 7 each night.

The following students have roles in the production: Anthony Davoli ’22, Christian Nettina ’22, Michael Scime ’23, Jackson Strzalka ’22, Chris Lippert ’22, James Burnett ’22, Connor Paradis ’22, Blaine Benson ’24, Andrew Kang ’22, Carter Bryant ’25, Dylan Leong ’25, Rocco Panzica ’25, Nick Mann ’22.

The musical also features Julia Gueli of Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart; Madelyn Goldberg of Nichols School; and Greta Golembiewski, Lenore Brown and Charlotte Nelson of Nardin Academy.

The orchestra includes Francis Eskra ’22 and Ryan Zgoda ’23 (violins), Patrick Nettina ’23 (percussion), Brian Manning ’22 and David Romanowich ’25 (trombone) and Antonio Falletta ’25 (flute/piccolo). The Art Club created the playbill cover and poster.

Finalists announced for 2024 Mr. Canisius award

This year's six finalists have been announced for the Mr. Canisius Award, which is presented annually to the graduating senior who, in the estimation of his peers, epitomizes all that Canisius stands for.

Two weeks to opening night!

Our CHS Drama Guild will present its annual musical on March 14-16 with a wonderfully fun production of The Addams Family. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows all start at 7:30 p.m. in historic Scaccia Auditorium.
