CHS Drama Guild presents "The Mystery of Edwin Drood"
Keith McShea

Two nights to Opening Night!

The next great CHS Drama Guild musical – “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” – will be presented at historic Scaccia Auditorium Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

All shows are 7:30 p.m. You can get your tickets now at canisiushigh.org/drama

Get ready for lots of audience participation and an ending that even the actors won’t know until the very end of this hilarious comedy, which brings to life Charles Dickens’ unfinished novel.

Teacher Craig Hinchcliffe reflects on CHS trip to Italy and a historic Easter Sunday

“It was a pretty moving experience. … It was pretty surreal.”

Craig Hinchcliffe and several students spoke Wednesday about the CHS educational trip to Italy over Easter Break, which culminated in the group being part of a historical moment: Pope Francis’ final public appearance as he said “Buona Pasqua” – Happy Easter – and blessed those gathered in St. Peter’s Square on Easter Sunday.

Requiescat in Pace, Pope Francis

“He was a Jesuit who knew and loved Jesus deeply,” said CHS President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J. “Francis was a faithful servant of the Gospel who remained close to the people whom Jesus would be close to in our own time. He consistently called us all to greater mercy and compassion.”
