Several Canisius student-athletes from the fall 2018 sports season have been recognized by the Buffalo News with All-Western New York or All-Catholic distinctions.

Canisius volleyball's Ethan Weislo '21 was named to the All-WNY second team. John Scrocco '19 was named the All-Catholic Player of the Year. Brendan Leong '19, Noah Weislo '21 and Ethan Weislo were named first team All-Catholic. Connor Booth '21, Christian Cugno '19 and Saf Dour '19 were named to the second team All-Catholic.

In soccer, Derek Bartlo '19 was named to the All-WNY first team. Alex Nemeth '19 was named to All-WNY Large School first team. Nemeth, Bartlo, and J.T. Burgio '20 were each named to the All-Catholic Large School first team. Zach Cox '19, Jonah Fogel '22, Eamon O'Brien '20, and Rehn Pielechowski '21 were named to All-Catholic Large School second team.

Francis Rados '19 earned an All-WNY Honorable Mention for cross country. Rados, Lucas Beyer '20, and Ethan Beck '21 were named All-Catholic first team. Derek Baker '21 was named All-Catholic second team.
