Crew Victories at Canadian Regatta

The Canisius High School rowing team completed the season with a winning performance at the 73rd Annual Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Association Championship Regatta over the weekend. The regatta brings together top high school teams from across Canada and select schools from the U.S. to compete in St. Catharines. 

The Canisius Senior Four and Junior Four boats both took home gold medals, and the Men’s Senior Eight earned a silver medal.

The Canisius Senior Four is the same crew that finished first at the New York State Scholastic Championships in Saratoga Springs, NY, and third at the Scholastic Rowing Association of America National Championships in Camden, NJ in May. They have qualified for the US Rowing Youth National Championship in Sacremento, CA. They will be traveling there this weekend to compete.
