Hundreds of runners, including Canisius students, alumni, families and friends, competed in the 39th annual Canisius High School Chilly Challenge 5K race on Sunday, March 25, 2018.
The 3.1 mile course took runners from the school on Delaware Avenue, over to Elmwood Avenue, up to Delaware Park before returning to the finish line in front of the school.
Nick Orlowski of Lancaster finished first overall with a time of 15:58.
Nick Taboni '17 was the top alumni finisher, and second overall, with a time of 16:47.
The top Canisius student was Frano Rados '19 at 18:26.
Sonya Krezmien of Springville finished first among the women and 12th overall at 19:55.
The post race party in the Kennedy Field House included chili from Joe's Deli.
