Thomas Webb

"Gooooooood Morning Canisius!" has become somewhat of a catchphrase for me over the past few years. Though I've said it quite a few times, I truly mean it every time.

Because I love this school. I love the students, who show so much kindness and growth during their time here. I love the teachers and administrators, who push me and so many others to pursue excellence. I love the coaches, directors, counselors, Jesuits, and so many others who have shaped who I've become: a Man for Others.

I was so nervous coming to Canisius. I was afraid I wouldn't find my place. Well, I now have a second family here. I'm honored to know they think so highly of me as to nominate me for this. I think just as highly of them.

My fellow nominees – Izatt, Scime, Nettina, LaForce, and Cercone – are some of the best of this brotherhood. Seeing my name next to theirs is a dream come true.

In typical morning announcements fashion, and from the bottom of my heart:

Thank you Canisius; Have a great day.

Thomas Webb
