Casey LaForce

It is beyond an honor to be nominated with my closest friends – Patrick, Tom, Shane, Mike, and Evan. I hope I can become half the man that all of you are and wish our time at Canisius wasn’t coming to a close.

Canisius to me has been more than a school, it has been a family. It is the countless amazing teachers, staff, coaches, and classmates that have formed me into the person I am today. Canisius did not just teach me how to read pages upon pages or how to memorize information, but how to think for myself, and how to discern with the knowledge you gave me what truly is right and just. You have taught me that putting others before myself is the standard and that pursuing excellence in all facets of life is the only option worth my time.

At the start of senior year, I began to wish for more time in the classroom, on the field, or anywhere related to the blue and gold. I finally learned in my last year that I can’t get any more moments and to value the time that I had left. Although I'll always hope for more time with my family at 1180 Delaware, I will graduate knowing that the time here was priceless.

Thank you, Canisius.
