Freshman Retreat

The retreat provides all freshmen the opportunity to experience all that Canisius has to offer and learn about what it means to be a part of this Jesuit school community. The one-day retreat is based Cura Personalis (care of the person) is held during the first semester of the school year.

Students spend time during the retreat engaging in activities that assist in developing a sense of community and an understanding of reflection. The retreat is run by our Canisius students from junior and senior year as part of our house system.

The freshman retreat is mandatory for freshmen.
