Scholarship and Placement Exam Tutorial Course
Canisius offers three tutoring sessions to help young men in eighth grade prepare for the Scholarship and Placement Exam. Classes are small, with a focus on individual attention.
This year's Exam Tutorial Course will be held at Canisius on the three weekends leading up to the Entrance Exam:
- Saturday, October 28, 2023
- Saturday, November 4, 2023
- Saturday, November 11, 2023
Each course runs 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. each day
Participants will focus on one subject (English, reading or mathematics) per session.
Additionally, test taking strategies, time management, format and content are also covered.
COST:
$75 per student, includes all three sessions, a snack at each session, the required textbook (Peterson's Catholic High School Exam Preparation Guide), and the cost of the Scholarship and Placement Exam if taken at Canisius High school.
There is no cost to participate in the Exam Tutorial Course for Higher Achievement Program (HAP) participants or Buffalo Prep students.
