Mr. Canisius 2022 finalist: Vincent Conroy

Men for others. Care for the whole person. Brotherhood.

Those words and phrases are powerful and helped me to choose Canisius, but it’s now that I have truly come to understand them.

Over the past four years, I have witnessed my classmates and experienced myself transform from young freshmen to men for others. One of the most meaningful things for me is to watch others grow and succeed. To be a part of that success is extremely important to me. I am honored to be nominated for this award alongside such great men.

I am incredibly proud and thankful to be a part of this community. I could not have done it without my brothers by my side. The bonds I have made here are going to be lifelong, and for that, I am forever grateful.

I know that my time at Canisius is coming to a close, but I will never forget what I have learned here.

To the underclassmen – fully embrace Canisius. It is a decision I promise that you will not regret.

To my senior class – go out and set the world on fire.

To the entire Canisius community – thank you.

AMDG,

Vinny Conroy
