Entrance Exam Tutorial Course
Canisius High School offers three tutoring sessions to help young men prepare for the Entrance and Scholarship Exam. Class sizes are small, with a focus on individual attention.
The Canisius High School Entrance Exam Tutorial Course runs for three Saturdays prior to the exam:
Participants will focus on one subject (English, reading or mathematics) per session.
The cost of the course is $75. This includes all three sessions, a snack, and the required textbook (Peterson's Catholic High School Entrance Exam Preparation Guide). We must include the cost of the textbook for all students. Higher Achievement Program (HAP) participants are automatically enrolled in these sessions at no cost. Also included is the cost of the Entrance and Scholarship Examination if taken at Canisius on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
ON CLASS DAYS:
Students may be dropped off at the blue doors at 8:45 a.m. for check-in and registration. They should dress comfortably and bring paper, simple calculator, pen and pencil.

Each eighth-grade boy is invited to spend a school day at Canisius as a Crusader For The Day. This is a great way to get a sense of what life at Canisius is really like. A Crusader For The Day accompanies a freshman or sophomore through his daily schedule and gets to interact with other students and teachers.
You may also contact the Office of Admission to arrange an individual tour.
