Tuition Assistance 

Families applying to Canisius for the Class of 2024 may submit TADS tuition assistance applications from November 1 through December 13, 2019. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be processed in time for the January 24, 2020 admission notification period. Click the button below for the application.

Boys currently in grades 7-10, and their parents, are invited to visit on a "See Us In Action Day."

Meet teachers and current students, and explore the campus including our modern science and technology classrooms, new center for the arts, and state of the art athletic facilities.

Entrance & Scholarship Exam

The Entrance Exam is offered the second and fourth Fridays of each month, or by appointment. Contact the office of admission to schedule your date and time.

Candidates for admission to ninth grade at Canisius must take the Entrance and Scholarship Exam and complete the standardized Diocese of Buffalo high school application. Click the button below. Please select Canisius as your first choice school on the application.

Acceptance Packages Mailed to Applicants

Notice of acceptance, academic merit scholarships and tuition grants were mailed to both first and second choice applicants for the Class of 2024 on January 23, 2020.

Registration for the Class of 2024

Saturday, February 1, 2020* at 10:00am

*This is the first date to register for fall 2020. Registration is by appointment if you cannot make this date.

Seventh Grade Practice Exam

Boys currently in seventh grade are invited to take a version of the Entrance and Scholarship Exam for practice. The practice exam helps students become familiar with the exam format by taking the exam under actual testing conditions.

Higher Achievement Program

The Higher Achievement Program (HAP) summer camp is specifically designed for rising 8th grade boys.
