The affordability of
Canisius High School

Attending Canisius High School is a transformational investment.  We believe strongly that the cost of tuition should not deter a student from attending Canisius and will partner with families to make a superior, values-based Jesuit education attainable.  Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and benefactors, a Canisius education is accessible to students from all socio-economic backgrounds through a robust tuition assistance program.  If Canisius is the right fit for the student, we will work to make the cost of tuition the right fit for the family.

Types of tuition assistance

Academic Scholarships

Canisius offers a number of academic scholarships to applicants who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.  These scholarships are determined by the applicant’s transcripts as well as his score on the Entrance and Scholarship Exam (9th grade applicants only).

Tuition Assistance

Need-based tuition assistance is also available.  Families may apply for tuition assistance at the same time they submit an application to Canisius High School and are notified of any award in their acceptance package.
