Matthew Sullivan '18 has been selected to receive The National Federation for Just Communities (NFJC) of Western New York Community Leader Youth Award.
The Community Leaders Awards recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the Western New York region through their involvement in volunteer activities and/or their special achievements in specific areas of community and professional life. These individuals and organizations exemplify the NFJC core mission of promoting goodwill, understanding, respect and trust.
Among his many volunteer activities, Matt has collected toys and Easter baskets and distributed them to pediatric cancer patients at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. He also founded STEM Jr. Ambassadors which provides opportunities for young people to share knowledge and resources with disadvantaged and under represented youth.
Matt will receive his award at a luncheon on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Buffalo Convention Center.
