The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a Jesuit tradition which dates back centuries. It affords school communities the opportunity, in prayer, to ask for the Holy Spirit's intercession throughout the upcoming school year. Friday's Mass at Canisius marked the first entire school gathering of the 2017-18 school year.
Chorus members added their talents to the Mass.
This year's Mass of the Holy Spirit also celebrated the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Canisius President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J. gave the homily.
Andrew Mangan '18 offered the Prayer of the Faithful.
