Last Sunday, Fed Hockey lost to Williamsville North 5-2. Cole Beiter '18 and Jacob Przystal '20 each contributed a goal in the effort. Then on Saturday, they defeated St. Francis 5-2. Noah Spiesz '19 earned his first win of the year. The boys improve their season record to 2-1.

Tuesday, Bowling dropped a match to St. Francis. Cameron Hall '19 had a total score of 589 and Joe Gogan '19 put up 527. They take on Park School on Tuesday.

Last weekend, Squash won the Gow Tournament. They look to build on that win in the following weeks.

Club Hockey started out their busy week with an 8-3 win over Cardinal O'Hara/City Honors on Tuesday. Next, they beat Depew 6-3 and shutout Wilson/Newfane 4-0. Jonathan Rucinski '18 scored 4 goals during the week and Dawson Cashatt '18 earned 2 wins, including the shutout. The team improves their record to 5-1.

Swimming had a strong meet at the Viking Invitational at Cleveland State University on Saturday. They had 3 NYS qualifying times: Dan Bowen '19 finished 1st in the 200-yard Individual Medley with a time of 1:58.64, Jake Ruffolo '18 finished 2nd in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.91, and Christian Balkin '18, Mac Granto '18, Jake Ruffolo '18, and Dan Bowen '19 finished 2nd in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:29.44.

Saturday, Varsity Basketball won the Tom Keenan Championship! They defeated Williamsville South 80-51 in the semis with 12 3-pointers. Then, they pulled away after a close first half to beat Nazareth 68-53 in the championship. Austin James '18 scored 21 points in the semis while Jayce Johnson '18 scored 15 in the finals and was named the tournament MVP.

Congratulations to Chris Cardillo '18 (Soccer) and Dan Harig '18 (Football) for winning Section 6 Scholar Athlete awards for the 2017 fall season!
