Steven Mooney '17 was named the recipient of the Charlie Wolff Memorial Award at the 19th Annual Ken-Ton Friends of Youth Shining Stars awards dinner this week. The award is an educational grant given to a high school senior who lives in Kenmore/Tonawanda, who has overcome an extreme obstacle in his or her life, and who has a drive to succeed in life.

Steven will be continuing his education in the fall at Clark University in Massachusetts, where he will also play baseball.

Fr. James Van Dyke, S.J. '77, director of Ignatian programs at Canisius High School, did the invocation at the awards dinner.
