John Jepson ’10 and Paul Steinig ’10 became the two latest Canisius Crusaders to make college commitments. Jepson, a standout volleyball player, has committed to George Mason University, while Steinig will continue his hockey career at Williams College. Both Jepson and Steinig excel in the classroom with 90-plus averages. Jepson, a First Team All-WNY selection, has been a three-year member of the Canisius Volleyball team that has won 10 consecutive Monsignor Martin titles. Steinig has been a four-year member of the school’s Varsity Federation hockey team. Last season, he was instrumental in helping the Crusaders win the Regular Season Federation championship, and the New York State Catholic School title.
