Learn to Play the Crusader Way

Canisius' student-athletes benefit from a proven approach that is designed to make them strong of mind, body, and spirit. Challenging academics, nurturing coaches, and state-of-the-art facilities combine with a commitment to serving the less fortunate to produce young men that are ready to lead on the field and off.

The school's summer sports camps give boys the opportunity to experience the "Crusader Way" for themselves.

ROWING, June 27-July 1 or August 8-12, 9 a.m.-noon
(for rising 6th-8th grade boys and incoming Canisius freshmen)
Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association, 405 Ohio St., Buffalo

Try the sport of rowing with one of the top high school rowing programs in the country. No experience necessary. We'll row on the scenic Buffalo River out our new state of the art boathouse.

 



SOCCER, July 5-8, 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
(for rising 6th-8th grade boys and incoming Canisius freshmen)
Tripi Field at Canisius High School

Canisius’ on-campus, outdoor practice field is the scene of the soccer camp which is always a big hit with students. In addition to individual skills and team concepts, student-athletes will learn about proper conditioning.

 

 


HOCKEY, July 6, 13, 20, 27 and August 3
Rising 3rd-5th graders 5:50 p.m. - 6:50 p.m.
Rising 6th-8th graders 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Location Hockey Outlet, 3385 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120

Develop skills at this camp taught by top coaches in Western New York.

 



LACROSSE, July 26-28, 2:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
(for rising 6th-8th grade boys and incoming Canisius freshmen)
Tripi Field at Canisius High School

Develop individual skills and learn team concepts. Student-athletes will also learn about proper conditioning.


 


 

VOLLEYBALL, July 11-14, 3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
(for rising 6th-8th grade boys and incoming Canisius freshmen)
Kennedy Field House at Canisius High School

One of the most popular summer sessions, the volleyball camp reinforces fundamental skills along with more advanced tactics. Leading the camp is renowned volleyball coach Tom Weislo.

 


BASKETBALL, August 1-4, 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
(for rising 6th-8th grade boys and incoming Canisius freshmen)
Kennedy Field House at Canisius High School

Basketball camp participants learn from some of the area’s best coaches since Canisius' basketball teams are consistently found at the top of the league and regional standings. Drills focus on individual and team concepts.



Boys are welcome to attend more than one camp.
